Via Königs Wusterhausen to Bad Saarow

Description

From the charter base in Zeuthen you travel via Zeuthener See and Dahme to Königs Wusterhausen. Turn left here in the direction of the Neue Mühle lock. If you are traveling without a boat license, you will be taken to the lock by the crew on site, because the charter license regulation applies from the lock in Königs Wusterhausen.

The first stopover in Königs Wusterhausen is worthwhile, as there is plenty to discover here. In addition to the castle, radio technology museum and lift bridge, many other sights await you.
Past Zernsdorf, the Dahme begins to meander its way through nature. After you have left the Dolgensee behind you, turn left into the Langer See shortly before Prieros. The botanical garden in Prieros is ideal for country walks.

The waters of Storkow begin with Langer See and Wolziger See. The lakes are surrounded by pine and mixed forests, and this protected landscape is home to many water birds and insect species. The Storkow Canal takes you by houseboat across the Großer Storkower See into the Scharmützelsee.

The elongated lake not only has a lot to offer houseboaters, sailors and surfers also enjoy the 10 km long lake. Bad Saarow awaits you on the northern bank. On the way there and back, you can expect almost 150 kilometers through the countryside south of Berlin.
