Which boats are suitable for a boating vacation with a bike?
Kormoran models
The Advanced Kormorans (Komoran 1150 and 1290) are particularly suitable for carrying bicycles. But there is also space for your bike on the Primus Kormoran, with a spiral staircase at the stern of the boat leading up to the deck so that you can carry your bike up without any problems. On the Primus models, you have to lift your bike up using a ladder, and the deck is quite large so that you still have a comparatively large seating area despite the bikes. The bicycles can be leaned against the metal railing on deck, possibly also secured so that they do not fall over in rough seas.
Aquino models
Of course, you can also take bicycles with you on the Aquinos. A staircase at the stern of the boat leads up to the deck so that you can easily put the bikes on top. On deck, the bikes can be leaned against the railing and, at best, secured with straps so that they cannot fall over in rough seas. You can also leave the bikes on the bathing platform and secure them.

The Müritz
The Müritz is the largest lake and the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Our marina in Hafendorf Müritz is located directly on the Müritz, so there are plenty of options for your onward journey.
The Kleinseenplatte, the heart of Mecklenburg’s waters, begins south of the Müritz. The last ice age left over 300 lakes here, some with natural connections. Today, this region is predominantly a national park, which you can explore by bike. In the fall, thousands of cranes come here to rest and in the distance you can hear the deer rutting. It is also worth taking a ride along the Berlin – Copenhagen cycle path or a detour to the former ducal residence of Mirow.
France and Saarland
Some stretches of the canal and the Moselle run directly through the Lorraine Regional Nature Park and you will find biotopes with unique flora and fauna: carnivorous plants in the marshes, orchids and gentian plants on dry limestone grassland, capercaillie on the high pastures and wild lynx in the forests. In addition to beautiful nature, you will also find very different places along the route: from historic Nancy to Metz with its cathedral and art museum to lively Thionville, places that are perfect for exploring by bike.
