Spree-Oder waterway to Schwielochsee
Description
From the charter base at Zeuthener See, the route goes via Seddinsee into the Spree-Oder waterway (if you do not have a boat license, a skipper will accompany you to Seddinsee, from here the charter license regulation applies). The Spree-Oder Canal takes you through Fürstenwalde to the junction with the Neuhaus feeding canal. Behind the Neuhaus lock, the Spree meanders through the countryside to Beeskow, where a beautiful old town awaits you, inviting you to take a walk ashore.
It is only a few kilometers from Beeskow to Lake Schwielochsee, the southern tip of which borders the Spreewald . The town of Goyatz is not only worth a visit because of its various museums, but is also a good starting point for a trip to the Spreewald.
If you want to travel a little further along the Spree, you can usually go as far as Lake Neuendorf. (Please note lock size)
7 days | 200 km | 10 locks
