Oranienburg and the Ruppin waters
Description
After a longer canal trip via the Voss Canal and Oder-Havel Canal, the houseboat takes you across the long Lehnitzsee lake to Oranienburg. Here you can visit the oldest baroque palace in Brandenburg, including the palace park with orangery, and Sachsenhausen with its National Memorial.
The Ruppin Canal takes you into the Ruppin waters, where several long lakes are lined up next to each other. Neuruppin, Alt Ruppin and Lindow are just some of the places to go ashore. The nature of the forest lakes in particular is worth seeing and relaxing. Sea eagles, beavers and otters can be observed from the houseboat.
