Who says that living always has to be on solid ground? Our houseboats and motor yachts offer an exceptional alternative to the classic rental property – whether for a few weeks, several months or indefinitely. Living on the water combines freedom with comfort and opens up completely new perspectives on living, working and traveling.
Perhaps you would like to take some time out, consciously live on the water for a while or do a creative workation with your team. Perhaps you are looking for a retreat for a project or simply want to get away from it all without sacrificing comfort. Whether coworking, team building, bleisure travel or a sole focus – a houseboat combines concentration and deceleration in a unique way.
Driving without a license
You can also hire houseboats without a boating license. Before setting off, you will receive comprehensive instruction consisting of 1.5 hours of theoretical and 1.5 hours of practical training. This training covers all the important sailing and safety rules and entitles you to sail on certain waters with the so-called charter license. You will also learn how to steer and moor the boat. Of course, you can also stay comfortably on the jetty and enjoy the maritime ambience from there.
Your boat
Our modern houseboats are equipped for two to twelve people. They are ideal for long-term rental – whether alone, as a couple, with family or as a mobile home for digital nomads. The boats offer everything you need for living: kitchen, bathroom, comfortable sleeping areas, heating and double-glazed windows to keep you warm in spring, autumn and winter. marina or anchoring
A big advantage: you decide where and how you want to stay. You can either stay permanently in a marina with a secure berth and infrastructure, or you can flexibly change location and discover new places along the water or anchor in your favorite bay.
You can use the long-term rental in Germany or in France in Alsace at our base in Niderviller.
Living and working
More and more tenants are also using our boats as a temporary residence during transitional phases: during a job change, when relocating or simply as a conscious decision for a minimalist, decelerated lifestyle. Others combine living and working – whether as an individual in a home office or for creative team phases on the water. Coworking, team building or longer workations can also be perfectly realized on our boats. The houseboats offer enough space for harmonious cohabitation – even over longer periods of time. By the way, pets are welcome!
Subletting
And if you are traveling or not using the boat yourself, there is the option of subletting it – we will be happy to help you with the planning.
Buy your favorite boat
If you can imagine going on board for a longer period of time, please contact us. We will advise you individually and find the right houseboat for your wishes.
If you fall in love with life on board permanently, you can also purchase the rented boat. When purchase you will receive the mooring for the first year free of charge.
