Your accommodation directly on the lake
The Floating Apartment is a small collection of cozy, heated houseboats on a jetty in the Hafendorf Müritz.
The houseboat is moored in Hafendorf Müritz for the entire duration of your stay and you can enjoy the comfort of a fully equipped houseboat with double glazing and solid insulation.
Equipped with: Sleeping cabins, bathrooms, a cozy salon and a practical pantry. They also have a fully equipped kitchen with all the important kitchen appliances and utensils.
The Febomobiles are barrier-free houseboats that are also suitable for wheelchairs.
And if the kitchen on your houseboat needs to stay cold, the Captains Inn can cater for the houseboat village residents on request until the end of October and then again from Easter with its regional cuisine. There is a special boat barbecue on board for self-catering.

Traveling by houseboat
If you would like to experience the vastness of the waters for yourself, there is the option of taking the booked houseboat out for an extra charge. In order to steer the houseboat correctly, you will receive instruction on site and – depending on the type of boat – a charter certificate.
Or you can start your excursion with a small sports boat, which are also available for hire.
Driving authorization
Since November 2023, there has been no buoyage on the Mecklenburg Lake District to show you where you can go. For this reason, you may only sail north on the Müritz with an inland boating license and only with Kormoran boats.
You can navigate the Müritz towards the southern waters with both the Kormoran boats and the Febomobil boats without a license. Your boats are equipped with STRIKER™ Plus 4cv from Garmin® to help you navigate. Your route is recorded at the same time.
Please note the regulations regarding wind force: with the Febomobiles you may only drive up to wind force 4, the same applies to driving without a license. With an inland boating license and the Kormoran type boats, you can sail up to wind force 6.
The Mirow and Plau locks and the bridge in Malchow will not be in operation from December 1 to mid/end of March. Electricity, water, sewage and sanitary facilities are only in operation in Hafendorf Müritz, there is no service in all other harbors during this time.
